At the heart of the DABBA concept is individual choice. Through the DABBA app, employees can choose their lunch in advance from a minimum of nine different daily options. Menus change regularly and are inspired by seasonal ingredients and cuisines from around the world.<\/p>\n

Daily options typically include classic Danish dishes, international meals, vegetarian and vegan options, sandwiches and salads. Ensuring there is something for every preference and dietary requirement.<\/p>\n

Employees can also adapt their choices according to allergies, dietary restrictions or personal preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free options.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The ordering process is straightforward. Once a company joins DABBA, employees create a profile and gain access to the daily menus through the app. Meals can be selected in advance, adjusted when needed or cancelled altogether. Employees can make changes until 12:30 the day before delivery, while companies have limited flexibility to make adjustments until 08:00 on the day of delivery.<\/p>\n

For companies, this creates a highly flexible lunch solution with minimal administration. For employees, it means having the freedom to choose the meal that best suits their needs on any given day.<\/p>\n

Sustainability is an integrated part of the DABBA concept.<\/p>\n

Our ambition is not only to deliver great food, but also to reduce the environmental impact typically associated with workplace dining. We work with five key sustainability principles, covering everything from food and packaging to delivery and waste handling.<\/p>\n

Meals are delivered in reusable stainless-steel tiffin lunch boxes designed to be used again and again without loss of quality. This reduces the need for disposable packaging and supports a more circular approach to food delivery.<\/p>\n

We also work with climate-conscious meal planning, inspired by recognised climate data, and aim to reduce the impact associated with both ingredients and logistics. Where possible, deliveries are made by bicycle or electric vehicle, helping reduce emissions.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Food waste is another major focus area. Because every meal is ordered individually and prepared according to actual demand, DABBA generates up to 30% less food waste than a traditional buffet-based lunch solution. Any remaining food can stay in the lunch boxes and is collected with the rest. Together with specialised waste-management partners, it is repurposed into resources such as biogas and fertiliser.<\/p>\n

We also continuously work to increase transparency around each meal. Nutritional information and CO2<\/sub>e data can help employees make more informed choices, while giving companies useful insight into the impact of their lunch solution.<\/p>\n
